BARREL CLEANING
Occasionally clean the metal parts on theoutside. Use a cloth which has been slightly damp-
ened with some gun oil.
In regular intervals (after approx. 250 pellets have been fired) a plug soaked in gun oil (such
as Ballistol) is to be shot through the barrel. This will ensure a reliable and long-lasting function-
ing of your gun.

Point the muzzle at the pellet trap, release the safety and shoot. If the projec-
tile remains stuck in the barrel, do the following:

CLEARING A JAM
If you are unable to remove the projectile or projectiles in this way, engage the safety with the
bolt open. Then contact your dealer or Umarex service representative.

If the bolt handle does not
go all the way forward, do
not try to force it. First pull it
all the way back and engage
the safety.

With the muzzle pointed in a safe direction,
put the system under pressure again by pumping the lever up to ten times.
Pumping automatically engages the safety.

Take a cleaning rod that matches the caliber and run it into the barrel from the muzzle end.
Carefully push the projectile out of the loading port without damaging the tip of the loading pin. Do
not reuse the projectile!

Lower the muzzle and point it towards the pellet trap. Then push the bolt all the way forward.
This prevents loading of another projectile.
