3.BLC/ATRSETUP(BackLightCompensation/AdaptiveToneReproduction)
The BLC SETUP is used to control the various Back Light Compensation modes
available in the EasyView™ 2 dome camera. BLC can assist in compensating for
exposure problem associated with very bright backgrounds causing subjects to
bloom or silhouette. The new ATR feature adjusts the picture to assist with widely
contrasting scenes of view by controlling the effective gamma levels. The factory
default is ‘OFF.’
3.1 BLC MODE (OFF, HLC, BLC-F, BLC-A, BLC-E)
TheBLCdividestheframeandcalculateseachzoneaccordingtoitsexposurelevel
counterbalanceexcessivebackgroundlighttodistinguishthesubjectintheforeground.
• OFF:TheBLCisoff.
• HLC(HighLightCompensation):TheHLCmasksoutexcessivelybrightareaswithin
theframeandcompensatestherestoftheframeaccordingly.
• BLC-F:BLCisxedweightedononeof9separateareasofthescreen.
• BLC-A:BLCautomaticallycompensatesforexcessivelightingontheentirescreen.
• BLC-E:BLCautomaticallycompensatesforexcessivelightingonthescreen.This
modeissuitableforextremebacklightingsituations.
