1. AE SETUP (Automatic Exposure)
The AE Control function is used to control the Iris, Shutter, AGC (Gain), MAX AGC
(Gain), BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, and FLICKERLESS.
1.1 CONTROL (ALC-DC)
TheALCmodeandthecamerawillcontinuouslymonitorchangesinthelightingintensity
andautomaticallyadjusttheDCAutoIristothemostoptimallevel.
1.2 SHUTTER (1/60 a ... a F1/10,000)
Theshutterspeedcanbeselectedaccordingtouserpreferenceinthe‘SHUTTER’mode.
Theshutterspeedof1/60(NTSC),or1/50(PAL)secondsarerecommendedformost
environments.
1.3 AGC - Automatic Gain Control (Auto, or Fixed)
TheAGCisautomaticallycontrolledunderthe‘AUTO’mode.Youcanhavemanual
controlovertheAGCinthe‘FIXED’modeorchangethevalueoftheMAXAGCtoallow
forhigherorlowertolerance.Thisfunctionisusedtoamplifythevideosignalwhenit
fallsbelowthesetparameter.IncreasingtheAGClevelbrightenstheoverallscreen,buta
settingtoohighcanalsoproducenoise.
