Display “H20” on the Control
Panel and flash in sync with
the selected size.
Extinguish all brew sizes.
Add water to the Water
Reservoir up to the MAX fill line.
NOTE: The Brew Choice™ may
run out of water mid-cycle.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of injury, do
not fill your Water Reservoir mid-cycle.
If you add water, press the Start/Cancel
Button to cancel the brew cycle, then
re-fill your Water Reservoir.

pod or
ground coee to the Brew Area
and making brew size selections.
Tips & tricks.
Brew a stronger, more
concentrated cup of coee by
selecting a smaller pod size,
like 6 or 8oz.
Always fill your Water
Reservoir with fresh filtered
water. The better the quality
of your water, the better
tasting your coee will be.
Recycle or compost your used

pods. If you purchase
biodegradable pods, the
entire pod can be added to
a composter. Used coee
grounds can be added to soil
to enrich garden beds.
SOLUTION 2: If the top lid of the
Brew Area is opened during
the brew cycle, brewing will
cancel. All sizes will become
extinguished on the Control
Panel and the Brew Selector Dial
will become inactive. Pod and/or
Carafe will stay illuminated and
the coee maker will continue to
display time. Make sure the top
of the Brew Area is fully shut and
tightly sealed during brew cycles.
PROBLEM: Coee tastes bad.
SOLUTION 1: Too little ground
coee may have been added
to the Gold Tone Filter. Use the
Coee Ground Scoop to adjust
the amount of grounds you’ve
added based on your preferred
coee taste and strength.
SOLUTION 2: Poor water quality
used in Water Reservoir. Use
filtered or bottled water for the
best taste.
SOLUTION 3: The unit needs
cleaning. See Care and
Maintenance on page 28.
