To replace the transmitter battery ;
1. Remove the small phillips head screw from the bottom
of the transmitter.
2. Use a small screwdriver or coin in the slot at the top
edge of the transmitter, and carefully unsnap the top cover
of the transmitter away from the bottom cover.
3. Remove the discharged battery, making note of the
location of the ( + ) and ( - ) contacts, and replace with a
new 12 volt type GP 23A battery.
4. Be sure the Red banic button is properly placed on the
back cover of the transmitter as shown.
5. Lift the rubber boot off of the circuit board, and press it
in place in the track surrounding the panic button. This
will help to hold the panic button in place.
6. Carefully snap the two transmitter halves back together,
then secure with the small phillips head screw.
