6–20 TextBridge Professional Edition User's Guide
The next time you want to process the same type of document,
you can load the training file. This enables you to gain accuracy
improvements without having to retrain TextBridge Pro.
To load a training file, pull down the Training Data pop-up menu
in the Preferences Panel on the main window and select the
training file (Figure 6–14).

Use deferred processing for long documents
Document recognition is a two-phase process—capturing the page
images; and recognizing the data from the images.
The amount of time each phase takes can vary, depending on your
system configuration and whether you are using your computer
for other tasks while recognition is in progress.
The first phase—capturing the page images (scanning)—requires
supervision. For long documents particularly, you must load and
reload the scanner until the entire document has been scanned.
If you are performing both phases at the same time, you must
wait for each page to be recognized before the next page is
scanned. This is time-consuming.
Alternatively, you can scan all pages of a document to on-line
image files and defer recognition until later.
