The following features are provided only in the Enterprise
edition, along with Enterprise documentation for network
administrators:
Legal Support
Legal stamps are available, along with Bates stamping and CaseMap
support for
legal offices. Choose Inspect Document in the Document
menu to select items to be removed from a file, such as comments,
bookmarks, hidden text, embedded indexes or sensitive metadata like
the author's name or the file history.
Batch file Conversion
This PDF Enterprise feature lets you eff
iciently convert batches of TIFF
or PDF files to the other file type, using predefined settings. Move files
for conversion to a single folder, then use choose Batch Converter from
the Tools menu. Valid input is PDF (any flavor) or TIFF (any flavor);
valid output is TIFF (with compression and file size choices under
Settings), image-only PDF (no settings) or Searchable PDF (select OCR
language and image pre-processing choices). OCR must be used when
creating Searchable PDF from TIFF or image-only PDF.
PDF/A compliance checker
This PDF Converter Enterprise
facility checks the compliance of PDF/A
files you create or receive and reports any non-complaint elements to
meet the standards of different PDF/A variants. PDF/A is a set of
standards for PDF files, to ensure maximum accessibility over a wide
range of PDF products under different platforms, and also to make the
files 'future-proof'. PDF/A is based on PDF version 1.4, so older PDF
products can handle them. It excludes elements like JavaScript which
may not be correctly interpreted in some environments. It requires
certain items, such as adequate tagging, good accessibility and suitable
metadata.
SharePoint and DMS support
The program supports the following Document Management Systems:
Microsoft Shar
ePoint, Interwoven WorkSite, Hummingbird Enterprise
(eDocs), LiveLink, Documentum, Worldox and DocuShare. See System
