Hand: Use this tool for PDF viewing and scrolling. Selection tools let you
select pieces of text and document areas.
Select: Select a text block or an image or an object to view and edit its
properties, copy it to Clipboard, etc.
Select area: Select an area for copying or converting its content to an
editable format or for placing a custom stamp you create on-the-fly.
Touch-up: Make limited text edits, even over multiple lines of text* or
select objects to move, resize, rotate, group or prioritize them. To
modify tag data, select an object, right-click for a shortcut menu and
choose Properties/Tag.
Crop: Draw a rectangle to define the area to remain after cropping;
double-click in it to set cropping instructions.
Link: Use this to define a rectangle that will become a hyperlink.
* For large-scale editing of PDF content, prefer Advanced Edit mode.
Use the drop-down list of the
PDF Converter tool to
unlock the current PDF
targeting a selected format
and processing mode.
