Using the Looks Like SearchTM feature
Use the intelligent “Looks Like” Search capability to quickly find content, like phone numbers, email addresses, and
Social Security numbers, via an alphanumeric pattern rather than exact text. Automatically redact, highlight, cross-
out, or underline search results for faster, easier PDF review and editing.
LOOKS LIKE SEARCH WITH PREDEFINED PATTERN
1. Open a PDF file.
2. Select Edit and then Search from the Menu bar.
3. Select the Pattern radio button.
4. Select a predefined pattern from the drop down menu.
LOOKS LIKE SEARCH WITH A CUSTOM PATTERN
1. Open a PDF file.
2. Select Edit and then Search from the Menu bar.
3. Select the Arbitrary mask radio button.
4. Enter the alphanumeric pattern that you would
like to search for.
