The Fill View Window
Filling a Form - 178
The Standard Toolbar Commands
This section gives a quick explanation of each button’s function. All
corresponding menu commands are explained in the section “Menu
Commands” on page 110. Processes such as scanning or opening a form
are explained in Chapter 5, OmniForm Procedures.
New
— Click the New button to open a new, blank form in design view.
Open
— Click the Open button to open an OmniForm Form.
Save
— Click the Save button to save changes made to the current form.
Scan
— Click the Scan button to scan a paper form or import an image
file.
Form Assistant
— Click the Form Assistant button to open the Form
Assistant dialog box.
Print
— Click the Print button to print the current form on a printer or
to disk as a file. If you are set up with a fax modem, you would use the
Print...
command to send faxes as well.
Print Preview
— Click the Print Preview button to see how your form
will look before you print it.
Spelling
— Click the Spelling button to perform a spell check of
information entered in the form.
Cut
— Click the Cut button to remove the current selection and copy it
to the Clipboard.
Copy
— Click the Copy button to copy the current selection to the
Clipboard.
Paste
— Click the Paste button to place the current contents of the
Clipboard at the cursor location.
Design
— Click the Design button to switch to design view.
Fill
— Click the Fill button to switch to fill view.
Zoom
— Click the Zoom button to zoom in or out of a page.
Highlight Fill Areas
— Click the Highlight Fill Areas button to turn
field highlighting on and off.
First Record
— Click the First Record button to move to the first record
in a database.
Previous Record
— Click the Previous Record button to move to the
record before the one you are viewing.
