Capitalization, Spacing, and Numbers
InDictationmode,youcansaycommandsthatapplyspecialrulesforcapitaliza-
tion, spacing and interpretation of numbers.Thisgivesyounercontrol
whenDictationmode’sintelligentautomaticbehaviorneedsassistance.(Fornest
possiblecontrol,though,useSpellingmode.)

correctcapitalizationandspacing.So,beforeusingthesecommands,trysay-
ingyourword(orlookitupintheVocabularyEditorwindow)toseewhat
MacSpeechDictatedoes.Forexample,MacSpeechDictatehandlescorrectly
suchtermsas“CD-ROM”and“FreeBSD”withoutyourhavingtoworry
aboutspacing,hyphenation,orcapitalization.
