Edges Edges are effects that can be placed around the edges of your image while
Composing.
Effects Effects are changes to your photo that can be applied to entire photo or areas via
brush tools (masks). Effects include sharpening, softening, painting, or using plug-in
effects. See Plug-ins.
E-mail E-mail is electronic mail. You can easily send photos via e-mail using Soap 2.
Enhance Enhance means to improve a photo, perhaps adjusting color, contrast, or auto
correcting a photo using Revitalize.
Eraser Similar to a real eraser, an eraser in Soap 2 is a tool which will un-paint any
effects already applied.
Flow Flow is a type of brush control that allows you to control the opacity of paint or an
effect.
Formats Formats are the different types of computer files that can be imported or
exported.
Global Global changes are adjustments that effect entire image. When you use an effect,
if you don’t select a brush tool, the change is made to the entire image.
Hand Tool The Hand Tool pushes painted or effect areas around.
Hard edge (An area with high contrast between the image and background is a hard edge.
Heal The Heal tool is used to eliminates scratches, rips, tears, and other imperfections
such as time and date stamps.
Hue Hue is the “color” of a color.
Icicle The Icicle makes mask areas hard edged.
Intensity The degree of effect that can be applied is the intensity of the effect.
Internet The Internet has evolved into the world marketplace where you can shop and
communicate with others. Photos you create with Soap 2 can be posted on the Internet to
be viewed by anyone. Or you can send e-mail via the Internet, once you have an Internet
connection.
