COMPOSING IMAGES
To fix or enhance a photo that’s in a composition:
1 Select the layer you want to fix.
2 Choose Layers menu > Edit in Clean.
3 Edit the photo.
4 Click the Apply button.
5 Click the Compose tab to return to the Compose area.
Adding Text
Add some text to your composition. Then, set text color, select a font, select a text
size—big, medium, or small (relative to the composition size), and set the alignment (left,
centered, or right). You can add shadows to give your text an even neater look. Later, you
can rotate, size or stretch text, as you would any other layer. Refer to “Sizing and Stretching
a Layer” on page 96 for information about sizing and stretching. Refer to “Rotating or
Flipping a Layer” on page 97 for information about how to rotate a layer.
To add text to a composition:
1 Click ABC. The Text control is displayed.
2 Click in the entry section and type the text you want displayed.
The Text control.
Remember! When a photo is in use in a composition, you must
Apply changes you make to it using Layers menu > Edit in Clean.
Click the Apply button before returning to the Compose area or
your changes to that photo are not reflected in the composition.
