Before you contact technical support, check the Frequently Asked Questions database
and the Tested Systems list.

Click the Support link in the left panel on the web page. Then, select your speech
product.
Information Required Before You Contact Technical
Support
Before calling or e-mailing a message to technical support, you must have the following
information readily available:
Your name and Technical Support ID (see the label on the back cover of this book).
Information about your computer: processor type and speed, amount of RAM
installed, available free hard-disk space, amount of cache (use the Apple System
Profiler), and make and model of your sound card.
Product name and release number. This information is located in the About box, and
the ReadMe file.
Any other applications you use in conjunction with ViaVoice.
A record of specific error messages or codes that were displayed.
A description of what you were doing when the error occurred. Try to re-create the
error before contacting the Technical Support Center.
