Chapter 15: Troubleshooting
issues
This chapter provides information on how to troubleshoot issues. Most of the steps
described here use the Nuance Management Center, except for the Dragon Support
Packager, which is accessible through the Dragon Client.
View log files for a variety of products and product
components
View client logs for a variety of products
You use the Client Logs screen to view log files for a variety of products and items.
The screen allows you to search for log files using a user login, within a date range, and one or all
products.
You must first upload the log before you can access it in the Nuance Management Center.
View a client log
Perform these steps to view a client log, including a Dragon client log.
1. Click Utilities.
2. In the View area, click Client Logs.
3. On the Client Logs screen, fill in the following fields:
l To search by user login name, enter a value in the User Login field.
l In the From and To fields, enter the date range for the search.
l In the Product field, select one of the following options:
l All
l Nuance Management Center
l Dragon Professional
4. Click Search.
5. In the search results, select a log.
