Configuring the Windows server
1.
Ensure the server computer meets the system requirements.
For more information, see “System Requirements for using Dragon through a remote desktop
connection” on page 1.
2. On Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows 7 Ultimate Server, make sure
that the "Remote audio" recording device already exists.
3. If you are using Windows Server 2008 R2, perform the steps in “Configuring Windows Server 2008
R2” on page 103.
4. If you are using Windows Server 2012 R2, perform the steps in “Configuring Windows Server 2012
R2 Part 1” on page 107.
5. If you are using Windows 7 Ultimate Server, perform the steps in “Configuring Windows 7 Ultimate
Server” on page 112.
