With this option set, saying
commands that start with
correct” opens the Spelling
Window. So does using the
Correction button on the
expanded DragonBar, or pressing
the Correction hotkey (the
numeric minus by default, as
seen in the Options dialog).
As you will see, there are many
ways to indicate in the Spelling
Window what should have been
recognized—including typing, or
spelling out individual
characters, hence the name
“Spelling Window.”
Here is an example. Imagine you dictated "contact colon Madyssen" (note the unusual spelling of this name) but
Dragon wrote “medicine” instead of “Madyssen”. To correct Dragon’s error, you can say correct medicine”.
The Spelling Window then opens. Take a look at it from top to bottom.
