Please double-check that the Audio settings on your client are set to high. For more information, see
Setting up Citrix Clients
.
If you are using a Phillips SpeechMike, set up your system so that sound playback is through a different
device and not the SpeechMike. To do this, select Sound and Audio Devices from the Windows control
panel and use the Audio tab to set your Sound playback and Sound recording devices.
There must be sound system installed on the client. For example, if your client has disabled USB audio, you
cannot create a DNS user. If you disable USB audio, enable it and re-connect to the Citrix server.
The Convert XML to DAT tool
Using the Convert XML to DAT tool
This tool (mycmdsxml2dat.exe) extracts user-defined NaturallySpeaking commands from a .XML file. The tool
writes out the commands to a .DAT file. NaturallySpeaking uses .DAT files to store commands. To make these
commands available to other NaturallySpeaking users, use the nsadmin tool or the Data Distribution Tool to
copy the created .DAT files to those other users.
Note: If you are using the Dragon NaturallySpeaking SDK Client Edition, you can programmatically import
NaturallySpeaking commands stored in .XML or .DAT files into a NaturallySpeaking user profile by using the
DgnEngingControl::ImportMyCommands method.
Starting Convert XML to DAT (mycmdsxml2dat.exe)
To start Convert XML to DAT (mycmdsxml2dat.exe) select:
For Dragon NaturallySpeaking:
Start>All Programs>Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9>Dragon NaturallySpeaking
Tools>Convert XML to DAT
