12.xMasterRoamingUserProfilesarelocated,performthefollowingstepsontheDragon
NaturallySpeaking13clientcomputer:
1. CreateadirectorytostorealltheMasterRoamingUserProfilesyouplantoupgrade.
2. CopytheDragon11.xor12.xMasterRoamingUserProfilesfromthenetworklocationto
thedirectory.
Step 5: On the administrator system where you plan to upgrade the Dragon 11.x or 12.x
Master Roaming User Profiles
1. StartDragonandmakesuretheRoamingfeatureisoff.
ToturnofftheRoamingfeature:
i. CloseanyopenUserProfiles.
ii. ClickAdministrative Settings ontheDragonBar Tools menu.Thisaction
displaystheAdministrative Settings dialogbox.
iii. OntheRoaming tab,makesureEnableisnotselected.
2. CloseDragon.
3. Followtheinstructionsinthenextsection,UpgradingmasterRoamingUserProfiles.

Upgrading master Roaming User Profiles
YoumustusetheUserProfileUpgradeWizardtoupgrademasterRoamingUserProfilesto
DragonNaturallySpeaking13.
Beforeyouproceedwiththetasksinthistopic,completetheprocedureinPreparingto
upgradeRoamingUserProfiles.
AfteryouupgradetheDragon11.xor12.xMasterRoamingUserProfilesandoptionally
copythembacktotheirnetworklocation,youcanproceedtoupgradeyourend-user
systemsthatusetheRoamingfeature.Formoreinformation,seeUpgradingend-user
systems.
Step 1: Upgrade the Dragon 11.x or 12.x Master Roaming User Profiles
OnthecomputerwiththecurrentMasterRoamingfilesandwhereDragon
NaturallySpeaking13isinstalled:
1. SelectStart >Programs >Dragon NaturallySpeaking>Dragon Nat-
urallySpeaking Tools>Upgrade User Profiles.
2. OntheSelect the profile(s) to upgradepage,clickBrowse to add a profiletoselect
thelocationoftheDragon11.xor12.xMasterRoamingUserProfiles.TheSelect the
profile(s) to upgradepagenowdisplaysalistofUserProfilesintheselecteddirectory:
