Running the Acoustic and Language Model Optimizer on a multi-core computer
Ifanon-RoamingUserProfilewithaBestMatchIVspeechmodeliscreatedandusedona
multi-corecomputer,whenanadministratorrunstheAcousticandLanguageModel
Optimizeronthatprofileonasingle-corecomputer,allaccuracyimprovementsmaynotbe
appliedtotheprofile.TheAcousticmodelwillreverttoasinglemodel.Whenanend-user
openstheprofileonamulti-corecomputer,onlythefirstacousticmodelwillload.
ToincreasetheaccuracyoftheUserProfile,selectAudio>Launch Accuracy Tuning
fromtheDragonBar.
Tomakesurethatcorrectionsandaccuracyimprovementsthatend-usersmakeareapplied
totheirnon-RoamingUserProfile,anend-usershouldruntheAcousticandLanguage
ModelOptimizeronnon-RoamingUserProfilesonlyonamulti-corecomputer.
To run the acoustic and language model optimizers on non-Roaming User Profiles:
1. OntheDragonBar,selectProfile>Open User Profile.
2. IntheOpen User Profiledialogbox,selectaUserProfiletoruntheoptimizationonand
clickOpen.
3. OntheDragonBar,selectHelp>Improve my accuracy.TheAccuracyCenteropens.
4. ClickLaunch Accuracy Tuning now.TheAcoustic and Language Model Optim-
