synchronizestheLocalandMasterRoamingUserProfiles.Leavingthisboxunchecked
allowsthelocal.DRAfilestosynchronizewiththeMasterRoamingUserProfile,which
makesthe .DRAfilesavailabletotheAcoustic and Language Model Optimizer whenitis
runontheMasterRoamingUserProfilelocationsandprovidesincreasedaccuracy.
However,because.DRAfilescanbelarge,ifyouexperienceexcessivenetworkslowdowns,
checkingthisoptionmaysolvetheproblembyeliminatingthecopyingofthesefileseachtime
theMasterandLocalRoamingUserProfilessynchronize.YoucanstillruntheAcoustic and
Language Model Optimizer ontheMasterRoamingUserProfile,butsinceitwillnothave
the.DRAfilestoprocess,theaccuracygainswillbeless.
Note:The.DRAfileswillnotbecopiedoncethemaximumsizeisreachedintheDisk space
reserved for network archive option.
Atsynchronization,settingthisoptionwillcopyapproximately1.3MBforeachminuteof
dictationsavedinthe.DRAfiles.ThesefilesareonlycopiedfromtheLocalRoamingUser
ProfiletotheMasterRoamingUserProfile;theyarenevercopiedfromtheMasterRoaming
UserProfiletotheLocalRoamingUserProfile.

Creating a Roaming User Profile on the local computer
TherearetwowaystocreateaRoamingUserProfile:
n TrainanewRoamingUserProfile
n Convertanon-roaminglocalUserProfileintoaRoamingUserProfile
ToopenorcreateaRoamingUserProfile,yourlocalinstallationofDragon mustbe
configuredforRoamingUserProfiles.Formoreinformation,seeEnablingtheRoaming
