To create a user profile
Proceedthroughthewizard,fillingintheinformationitrequestsandclickingNexttoproceed.

Dragonletsyouhaveprofilesinmultiplelanguages.Ifyoureditionsupportsmorethanone
language,youcaninstalladditionallanguagesbychoosingCustomduringtheinstallationand
havingtheDragonDVDavailabletoinstallthelanguagefilesduringtheprofilecreation
process.
Dragonautomaticallychoosesaspeechmodeltouseasthefoundationforyourprofileanda
vocabularyitusestorecognizewordsbasednotonlyontheirsoundbutalsoontheircontext.
Ifyouwanttoselectaparticularspeechmodelandvocabulary,youcanclicktheAdvanced
button.
WhentheChooseanaudiodevicepageappears,Dragonscansyoursystemandpresentsa
listfromwhichyouselectyourtypeofaudiodevice.Next,Dragonhasyoupositionandcheck
yourmicrophone.WhenDragonasksyoutoreadashorttextaloudsothatitcancheckyour
audioinputandmakesomeadjustments,clicktheStartbuttonandreadthetextasifyou
weredictatingtothesoftware(thistakesabout30seconds).
