Starting and exiting programs
Use the following voice commands to start programs that appear anywhere on
your Start menu or your Desktop.
Attention
The "Start <program name>" command can be turned off to reduce computer
memory use and eliminate misrecognitions of dictation as commands. See
Enable launching from the Start menu in the Dragon Help.
To start a program
Say "Start" followed by the program name.
Instead of "start," you can also say "open," "launch" or "show." For example,
say "open Notepad."
Shorter names for popular programs
For the popular Windows programs listed here, you can use shorter program
names in addition to the standard program label shown on the Start menu or
