Dragon Administrator Guide version 11
Dictation Source (definition)
An audio input device or multiple devices associated with a User Profile. A user can select a head-
set microphone at one computer, an array microphone at another, and a portable recorder for tran-
scription at several computers. This way, Dragon supports users who need to move, or “roam”,
from computer to computer regardless of the microphone type or differences in ambient noise.
