SETUP INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPARO

ead and Understand the entire Nu-Flame Manual prior to use.
Make certain to inspect the package thoroughly. Carefully remove and unwrap your Nu-Flame fireplace.
Your fireplace will have the following components:
1. Black High Heat Powder Coated Base
2. Wind Screen Glass Panels (4 each)
3. Stainless Steel Burner
4. Dampener tool
You may wish to purchase a funnel for pouring fuel into the burner
Carefully remove all inner packing. Place the base on a flat, stable surface, place the burner cup inside the
base cutout making certain it is well seated in the base and sitting level.
To fill the cup with fuel, remove it from the housing (make certain the cup is cool to the touch). Use only a
recommended Ventless Fireplace Fuel like “Nu-Flame Bio-Ethanol Fuel”. Pour fuel into the burner cup; do
not fill above the perforated cap. DO NOT OVERFILL. Wipe up any spilled fuel. Use a long match or
extended lighter to ignite the fuel.
CAUTION: The flame starts out slowly. Please allow 15 minutes to reach the optimum temperature and
flame height. DO NOT ASSUME THE FUEL DID NOT IGNITE. Follow the refilling instructions in this manual.
