1. If aromatherapy is desired, add several drops of essential oil (not
included) directly into the water tank. NOTE: Essential oil should not
be added if you are using the humidifier with an optional
decalcification cartridge. The oil will ruin the filter.
2. Ensure the upper cover is on the water tank.
