MELT/SOFTEN
The Melt/Soften feature automatically sets the correct heating
time and microwave power level for melting, softening and
warming foods shown in the chart below.
There are two quantity options for each food item. To select
between the two quantities, touch the same number pad as used
to select the food number one time for the smaller quantity or
two times for the larger quantity.
To melt, soften or warm other quantities or other foods, heat
ma nu a l ly.
1 Touch Melt/Soften pad.
SEE LABEL SELECT FOOD NUMBER
appears on the display.
2 Touch a number pad to select food item. Instructions to select
quantity appear on the display.
3 Repeat touching the same number pad to select quantity.
4 Touch START/+30 SEC pad.

• Touch Melt/Soften pad.
• Touch 1 pad to select Butter.
• Touch 1 pad once more to select quantity of 2 tablespoons.
• Touch 1 pad twice to select quantity of 0.5 cup.
2 Chocolate 1 cup chips
1 oz square
• Touch Melt/Soften pad.
• Touch 2 pad to select Chocolate.
• Touch 2 pad once more to select quantity of 1 cup chips.
• Touch 2 pad twice to select quantity of 1 oz square.
Soften
3 Ice Cream 1 pint

• Touch 3 pad to select Ice Cream.
• Touch 3 pad once more to select quantity of 1 pint.
