2.These can be set to any integer value between 1 and 5000. This will keep as many archives as configured and purge logs older

than this.

Note: After installing Server and Client software version 3.1 (or later), the sems.conf file will not automatically update with the

new options. To use the new configuration options, either

A. Delete and Edit

1. Close the Server software and Client software.

2. Delete the sems.conf file from the Server software directory (same directory emicromanagersrvr.jar file is in) and

Client software directory (same directory emicromanager.jar file is in).

3. Restart the Server and Client software. The updated sems.conf file will be generated and ready to edit.

4. Edit the sems.conf file with the values desired and save it.

5. Close the Server software and Client software.

6. Restart the Server and Client software. The values entered will now take effect.
