6. Choose firmware
Click "Browse" and select the appropriate firmware for your device.
If you did not change the path in Step 2, you will find all the files you
need for the update at C:\TerraTec\NOXON.
7. Start the update
Click "Upload" to start the firmware check.
9. Confirm the selection
Once the firmware has been successfully checked by the device, a
pop-up dialogue asks you to confirm. This begins the actual transfer,
which can take up to 3 minutes.
10. Done!
After a successful update, the device restarts automatically.
11. Reimporting the favourites
Optionally:
If you have backed up your favourites before the update as outlined
in 1., all that's left to do is to transfer them back to the NOXON (for
instructions, refer to B4 Backing up favourites using the Favourites
Commander).
C2 Firmware update without PC
The setup menu includes the "Software update" entry, which avoids the hassle of the above method and
allows the NOXON to automatically retrieve and install each new update from the server.
(Software Update) provides a description of the corresponding menu entries at which you can carry out the
automatic and manual software update directly on the NOXON without a computer.
