B4 -   Backing up favourites using the Favourites Commander 
For Internet radio fans, the iRadio's favourites list will very quickly become just as important as the phone 
book in your preferred mobile phone. With good reason, as the Internet radio world of the iRadio—just like 
everyday life—sometimes brings surprises you want to revisit the next day. 
It's all the more frustrating when, as a result of a few carelessly pressed buttons or a software update, your 
favourite stations are deleted irretrievably. 
This is exactly where the Favourites Commander can be a very useful little program, which makes it very 
simple to download favourites from your iRadio to save them and load them back later onto your device or 
another device. 
B4.1 -  Installation 
The Favourites Commander has been developed in Java and thus can be run in all operating systems. In 
Windows,  it  may  be  necessary  to  install  the  current  Java  Virtual  Machine,  which  is  available  as  a  free 
download from http://java.sun.com. 
The installation takes place in the usual way by double-clicking the installation programme or calling up 
the "jNoxonFavs.jar" file directly. 
B4.2 -  Connecting to a NOXON 
At the bottom left in the program, enter the IP address of your iRadio (e.g. 192.168.241.78). After you click 
"Connect", the program will connect to your iRadio and display the saved favourites. Favourites saved on 
an  external  server  (such  as  podcasts  and  myNOXON content)  are  not  displayed  in  the  Favourites  Com-
mander, as these are backed up automatically by the Terratec server. 
You will  find the IP address of your iRadio  in the "Configuration", "Device status", "Software address" 
menu.
