Use
NOTE:Theseoperatinginstructionsapplyto

Whenusingahoodsufficientairflowisnecessary.
Howeverlargeyourkitchenmaybe,thereisonly
so much air available in that space. Opening a
doororwindowortheinstallationofaventilation
gridclosetothehoodinsuresagoodqualityof
airflow.
Insufficient air flow will impair the extraction
efficiencyofyourhoodimmensely.
Insufficient air flow can cause reflux from other
air ducts such as chimneys or combustion
appliances. When using a cooker hood and
appliances using energy other than electrical in
thesamespace,thepressureintheroommaynot
surpass4Pa(=0.04mBar).
Safety
• Deepfryingunderthehoodisonlyallowed
underconstantsupervision.
• Undernocircumstancesisitallowedto
flambéunderthehood.
• Incaseoffirealwaysswitchoffthehood.
• Neverextinguishburningfatoroilwithwater.
Coverthepotwithawellfittinglidoraburn-
blanket.
Advice
Formaximumefficiencypleasefollowthisadvice:
• Whencookingmakesurepotsarepositioned
properlyunderthehoodsurface.
• Activatethehoodafewminutespriortocook-
ing.
• Switchthehoodoff10minutesaftercooking
isfinished(switchoffwith10minutedelay).
• Avoiddraftsunderthehoodsurface.
• Whenusinginduction:adapttheintensityof
bothhobandhoodtothelowestpossible
levelinordertoavoidexcessivecreationof
dampfumes.

Maintenance
Maintenance of the grease filter
Thehoodcontainsonemetalfilterwhichshould
becleanedtwiceamonth.
Access to the filter
Removethegreasefiltersbypullingdownthetwo
stainless steel hinged lower cover plates at the
frontside,whichcoverthegreasefilters.Pullthe
twometalgreasefiltersoutbythelittlehook.
Cleaningthefilter:
• inthedishwasher
• manually:inahotsolutionofwateranda
liquiddetergent.Rinceandallowtodrycom-
pletely
Important! The previous instructions need to
befollowed.Ifnotanincreasedfirehazardmay
occur.
