The range of values allowed for both of these settings will depend on the DispType setting as follows:
With an encoder or pot, the control value will scale from the Low Value to the High Value as you rotate it clockwise.
Consequently if you want the control value to increase as you rotate the encoder clockwise, make sure the High Value is
larger than the Low Value. If you want the control value to decrease as you rotate the encoder clockwise (inverted action),
make the Low Value larger than the High Value. It is possible to invert the action of the sliders and the expression pedal
in this way.
For buttons, drum pads and the sustain pedal, the Low Value and High Value should be set in conjunction with the BtnType
(Button Type) setting (see below).
Ports: This sets the port routing for the control i.e. where the MIDI messages generated by the control are routed to
when it is operated. The options are as follows:
OFF: MIDI data is not transmitted
U1: sent to USB Port 1
U2: sent to USB Port 2
U3: sent to USB Port 3
M1: sent to MIDI OUT Port 1
M2: sent to MIDI OUT Port 2
plus the following combinations of the above:
U1 M1
U2 M1
U3 M1
U1 M2
U2 M2
U3 M2
M1 M2
U1 M1 M2
U2 M1 M2
U3 M1 M2
and also:
Pr ogP ORT: Sent to the Program Port (set in the Template menu)
ComnPOR T: Sent to the Common Port (set in the Template menu)
