Steam Station 4 BAR Refillable Article 320190 / 320191
7 The temperature indicator light on the
iron is illuminated whilst the iron is
heating up, and is extinguished once
the iron has reached the set
temperature. You can now start ironing.
8 Whilst you are ironing you can give a
shot of steam by shortly pressing the
iron's steam button (nr.3) with your
index finger for 2 seconds at most.
When you press the button more than
2 seconds, the steam generator will
emit steam for 5 minutes. You can stop
the generation of steam by pressing the
steam button (nr.3) again.
Note: A little water may drip from the
soleplate when using the steam
generator for the first time or reusing it
after a long period. This is normal, and
is caused by the condensation of
steam.
The steam/condensate is very hot.
Never point the soleplate at persons.
9 When pausing during ironing, return the
iron to the holder on the steam
generator.
When the steam button is not pressed
for one hour the steam generator will
emit a beep and switch off
automatically. A beep will also be heard
when the generator is switched on
again.
Note: The iron is not switched off
automatically. Switch off the iron by
removing the plug from the wall socket.
10 When you have finished ironing return
the iron to the holder on the steam
generator, switch the steam generator
off and remove the plug from the wall
socket.
If you switch off the steam generator,
the iron still continues to heat. To
switch off the iron too, the plug must be
removed from the wall socket.
11 Allow the appliance to cool.
Refilling the water reservoir
The steam station is protected with a
warning system for your convenience:
when the waterlevel in the reservoir is
too low, a warning sounds.
1 When the warning sounds, press the
water reservoir down and remove it
from the steam generator.
2 Refill the reservoir, but be careful not to
exceed the ‘max’ level.
3 Install the reservoir in the steam
generator and make sure it is
positioned correctly.
