7.0 FUNCTIONS
When weighing, the user can access the applications that have been enabled (see
section12.2).
• Weighing
• Partscounting
• Percentweighing
• Checkweighing
• Densitydetermination
Theselectablefunctionscanbeenabledusing a similar method to the Units above
byturningthefunctionsonoroff.
7.1 PARTSCOUNTING
Thisallows theuser toweigh asampleofpartstocompute anaverageunitweight
andthendeterminethenumberof itemsbeingweighedbydividingthe netweight
bytheunitweightvalue.Theresultisalwaysawholenumberofparts.
Thebalancehasapresetnumberofpartstobeusedasasample.Thesevaluesare
10,25,50or100items.
Steps:
1) Press [Mode] and then the [Up] or [Down] key to select parts counting,
“PARTS”willbedisplayed
2) Enterpartscountingbypressing[Enter]
3) Pressthe[Up]or[Down]keytoselectthesamplesize,“REFQTY”,10,25,50,
100,etc.,thenpress[Enter]toconfirm
4) When “LOAD XX Pcs”isshownplaceXXnumberofitemsonthepanandpress
[Enter] to compute the average piece weight. Display will indicate the busy
symbol
5) Removethesamplewhendisplayshows“XXPcs”andthenplaceanunknown
quantity on the pan. The balance will then compute the number of parts
basedupontheaveragepieceweight.ThedisplaywillshowtheresultinPcs
6) Tocountanotheritempress[Mode]andcontinuefromstep2.

7) Toreturntonormalweighing,press[Mode]thenpress[Esc]
