Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). Thread the power cord of the heated base through the center of the carousel, then set the heated base into the center of the carousel. To keep the unit level, make sure the power cord is placed into the notch in the bottom of the carousel. 2. Set the melting pot into the center of the heated base, and set the melting pot lid 3.
1. Before first use, wipe down heated base, melting pot, lid and trays with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly. Be very careful to not get any water in the heated base, or unit will not function. 2. Find a dry, heat-resistant, level surface near an electrical outlet. 3. Using your own recipe or following a recipe included in this instruction manual, prepare your chocolate or caramel mixture. NOTE: You may also use pieces of caramel or chocolate candies in the melting pot.
ENGLISH HELPFUL TIPS NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating. If toppings do not stick to dipped apple, the mixture may be too hot. Allow mixture on apple to cool slightly before dipping in toppings. DO NOT use recipes that are heavy in oil, as this will inhibit the mixture sticking to the apple. If initial coating is too thin, let set and then dip the apple in the mixture again. Repeat as neccesary.

Si la cubierta inicial es demasiado delgada, deje asentar y luego sumerja la manzana nuevamente en la mezcla. Repita según sea necesario.

COMMENT FAIRE FONCTIONNER 1. Avant la première utilisation, essuyer la base chauffante, le creuset, les couverts et les plateaux à l'aide d'un chiffon humide, non abrasif puis bien assécher. Faire très attention de ne pas avoir de l'eau dans la base chauffante, sinon l'appareil ne fonctionnera pas. 2. Trouver une surface plane sèche, résistant à la chaleur, à proximité d'une prise électrique. 3.
CONSEILS UTILES NE JAMAIS laisser l'appareil sans surveillance pendant son fonctionnement. Si les garniture n’adhèrent pas au pommes trempées, le mélange est peut-être trop chaud. Permettre au mélange sur la pomme de refroidir un peu avant de tremper dans les garnitures. NE PAS utiliser des recettes qui demandent beaucoup d’huile, car cela empêchera le mélange d’adhérer aux pommes. Si la couche initiale est trop mince, laisser reposer et ensuite tremper la pomme de nouveau dans le mélange.
