3 ASSEMBLY and USE After Taking the Unit Out of the Box: CAUTION- first make sure you put the griddle on a surface that will not be affected by heat! 1. Before use, clean all parts of the unit with a non-abrasive sponge 2. Always place the unit on a flat, clean, non-slippery surface prior to use 3. Allow about 8 inches of clear space all around the exterior of the unit 4. Place drip pan and warming drawer into base 5.
