Intended Use The NorTrac Harrow Rake cultivates and prepares seed beds and rakes up dead foliage. Pull behind a tractor, jeep, pickup, ATV, or 4-wheeler to effectively level dirt racing tracks and playing fields. Main Parts of Harrow Rake Subassembly A. Fence B. Tow Bar C. Beam D. Plunger Rod Assembly Instructions Open the carton and lay out the contents to be sure they match the Parts Diagram and List. Follow the steps below to assemble the harrow rake. Again, refer to the Parts Diagram and List for the reference numbers mentioned. 1. Lay the harrow onto ground and stretch it out. 2. Connect the Tow Bars (#2) to the beam (#3). See Fig 1. 3. Connect the Tow Bars (#2) to the Tow Ring (#1). See Fig 2.
4. Insert the Plunger Rod (#4) into the rings on the Beam (#3). See Fig 3 and Fig 4. 5. Connect the Fence (#5) to the Plunger Rod (#4). See Fig 5. 6. The harrow rake is ready for use. Before Each Use Before each use, be sure the harrow rake is in proper working condition. If any tines have been damaged, repair or replace the fence. Operating Instructions Connect the harrow rake to the tractor/ATV/UTV using the Tow Ring.
After Each Use After each use, clean the tines and repair any that have been damaged. Be sure the unit is in proper working condition before storing it. Maintenance It is recommended that the general condition of any harrow rake be examined before it is used. Keep your harrow rake in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance. If any abnormal vibrations or noise occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
