4. Install the rear discharge chute and safety chains using M12 bolts and locking nuts. See the
following image.
5. Adjust the height of the mower deck by installing spacers (A, B, or C) on the bottom
of the wheel assembly shaft (2) before inserting into the axle arm (3). See the figure below.
Before Each Use
Oil is NOT included. Before using, add oil to the central gear box. Consult owner’s manual for
lubricating and operating instructions.
Never operate the tractor and the mower until you have read and completely understood this
manual, the Tractor Owner’s Manual, and each of the safety messages found on the safety
signs on the tractor and mower.
Personal protection equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves are
recommended during assembly, installation, operation, adjustment, maintaining, repairing,
removal, or moving the implement. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties, rings,
bracelets, or other jewelry which may get caught in moving parts. Wear a protective hair
covering to contain long hair.
Prolonged Exposure to Loud Noise May Cause Permanent Hearing Loss!
Tractors with or without mowers attached can often be noisy enough to cause permanent, partial
hearing loss. We recommend that you wear hearing protection on a full-time basis if the noise in the
operator's position exceeds 65 dB. Noise over 65 dB on a long-term basis can cause severe hearing
loss. Noise over 65 dB adjacent to the operator over a long-term basis may cause permanent, total
