4. Adjust

pressure as

needed

-Rotate the pressure adjustment knob until the sprayer is running at the

desired pressure.

1. Turn knob clockwise to increase pressure

2. Turn knob counter clockwise to decrease pressure

Note: If the pressure adjustment knob is completely tightened, the

pressure setting will be higher than the pressure switch on the pump.

This allows the pump to operate as a demand pump and turn on only

when spraying. See details below about pressure switch functionality.

The pressure switch reacts to outlet pressure, and interrupts power at the

preset shut-off pressure indicated on the pump label. When outlet pressure

drops below a predetermined limit the switch will close and the pump

operates until the shut-off pressure is achieved. The shut-off pressure is set to

factory calibrated standards.

Note: If the plumbing is restrictive or the flow rate is very low, the

pump may re-pressurize the outlet faster than the fluid is being

released, causing rapid cycling (*ON/OFF within 2 seconds). If the

pump is subjected to rapid cycling during normal operation, or for

infrequent periods, damage may occur. Applications which exhibit

rapid cycling should have restrictions in the outlet minimized.

Alternatively, a pressure accumulator may be used to reduce the

cycling rate.

5. Fluid bypass

In order to maintain a set pressure, the regulator discharges excess fluid

through the bypass port. The bypass port should be connected to the fluid

source via a ¾” flexible hose (not provided). The ¾” flexible hose should be

as short as possible with no bends or other restrictions.

6. Leaving

unattended

If the pump must be left unattended at any time:

a) Disconnect power to the pump.

b) Relieve system pressure.
