Step One: Remove plug from regulator manifold

Use a hex wrench to remove the plug from the regulator manifold. Discard the plug.

Step Two: Thread fittings into manifold

1. Thread the steel 3/8” MPT nipple into the manifold. Tighten hand tight, then at least one

additional full turn with a wrench.

2. Thread the 3/8” ball valve onto the steel 3/8” MPT nipple. Tighten hand tight, then at least

one additional full turn with a wrench. Orient the handle of the 3/8” ball valve to face forward

and point down in the open position. (See illustration)

3. Thread the brass 3/8” MPT x 1/2” hose barb elbow into the 3/8” ball valve. Tighten hand

tight, then at least one full turn with a wrench. Point the hose barb towards the tank. (See

illustration)
