Step Three: Install fittings into solenoid valve

1. Install the 3/4” MPT x 1/2” hose barb elbow into the inlet port of the solenoid valve. Tighten

hand tight, then two full turns with a wrench. Point the hose barb toward the back of the

solenoid valve. (See illustration)

2. Install the 3/4” MPT plug into the bypass port of the solenoid valve. Tighten hand tight, then

two full turns with a wrench.

3. Install the 1/2” MPT x 1/2” hose barb elbow into the outlet port on the top of the solenoid

valve. Tighten hand tight, then two full turns with a wrench. Point the hose barb toward the

front of the solenoid valve. (See illustration)

Step Four: Fasten solenoid valve to frame

1. Use the #10 lock washers and thread the #10 x 1/2” screws halfway into the bottom of the

solenoid valve.

2. Locate the keyhole slots in the sprayer frame. Insert the heads of the screws into the large

portion of the keyhole slot, then push the solenoid forward so the screws slide into the narrow

portion of the keyhole slot. Tighten the screws.
