To run the arp command from Windows
1 Click Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
Result: The Command Prompt dialog box appears.
2 Type arp with the required parameters (for example, arp -g
200.286.0.32).
3 Press Enter.
Result: The system runs the arp command.
4 Type Exit to exit the Command Prompt dialog box and return to
Windows.
The nbtstat command
The nbtstat command displays protocol statistics and current TCP/IP
connections using NBT.
Nbtstat command syntax
The nbtstat command uses the following syntax:
nbtstat [-a remotename] [-A IP address] [-c] [-n]
[-R] [-r] [-S] [-s] [interval]
-N if_addr Displays the arp entries for the network interface
specified by if_addr.
-d Deletes the host specified by inet_addr.
-s Adds the host and associates the Internet address
inet_addr with the physical address eth_addr. The
physical address is given as six hexadecimal bytes
separated by hyphens. The entry is permanent.
