Route tab
The DVMRP Route tab (Figure 72) shows the table of routes learned through
DVMRP route exchange.
MajorVersion Neighboring router’s major DVMRP version number.
MinorVersion Neighboring router’s minor DVMRP version number.
Capabilities Neighboring router’s capabilities. The probe flag is 1 byte
long with the lower 4 bits containing the following
information:
• The leaf bit (0) indicates that the neighbor has only one
interface with neighbors.
• The prune bit (1) indicates that the neighbor supports
pruning.
• The generationID bit (2) indicates that the neighbor
sends its generation ID in probe messages.
• The mtrace bit (3) indicates that the neighbor can
handle mtrace requests.
State State of neighbor adjacency:
• oneway—The switch sees a packet from the neighbor
but no adjacency has been established.
• active—Adjacency exists in both directions.
• ignoring—The switch ignores neighbor packets.
• down—The interface is not enabled.
