Step Action

Login to the NRS.
2 Select Endpoints under the Numbering Plan menu on the left
hand side.

Ensure that you are managing the Active Database.
4 Select the Gateway Endpoints tab.

In the results pane, locate the MCG3100 endpoint ID.
6 Verify that the Call Signaling IP is the IP address of the
MCG3100 gateway.
If the Call Signaling IP field shows Not Registered, then the
MCG3100 gateway is not currently registered. Check your
configuration and try again.

Validating MCC 3100 for BlackBerry communication
Use this procedure to ensure that you can connect to the MCG 3100
through the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
Procedure steps
Step Action

On your BlackBerry mobile client, open the BlackBerry Mobile
browser.
2 Navigate to the User Portal of the MCG 3100 server.
If you can view the MCG 3100 User Portal, then you have proper
communication between the client and the MCG 3100 servers.

complexity, to ensure that the configuration of the Mobile Communication
Gateway 3100 (MCG 3100), Mobile Communication Client 3100

server interact correctly.
