Conﬁguring the Digit Manipulation Index

Create a Digit Manipulation Index (DMI) to take calls from the PSTN, route

it to the SIP Gateway, through the SRS, and finally to the MCG 3100.

Procedure steps

Step Action

Connect to your call server.

2 Press enter.

3 Enter the following command to log in to the system:

LOGI admin2

4 Enter the Level 2 password.

Enter the following command:

LD 86

At the REQ prompt, enter NEW

At the CUST prompt, enter the Customer Number, as defined in

LD 15.

At the FEAT prompt, enter DGT.

9 At the DMI prompt, enter the Digit Manipulation Index numbers.

10 At the DEL prompt, enter the number of digits to be deleted.

11 At the INST prompt, enter any leading digits that need to be

inserted.

12 At the CTYP prompt, enter the Call Type to be used by the

manipulated digits.
