To override a busy signal:
Using Privacy Release
Use the Privacy Release feature to enable one or more people who share
your DN to join a call.
To use Privacy Release in an established state:
1. You receive a busy signal after dialing a
phone number.
2. Choose one of the following:
— Press the Override key.
— Enter the Override FFC. The people
in the targeted call receive a tone for
approximately 1 second. After
Override joins you to their call, a
short tone repeats every 16
seconds.
3. To terminate the call, press the
Goodbye key.
Press the Privacy Release soft key during a
call. People can join the call by pressing the
shared number (DN) key on their IP Phone
(Multiple Appearance DN feature).
