10 Low-speed ATM configuration

Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2 Run:
interface atm interface-number
The ATM interface view appears.
Step 3 Run:
loopback { local | payload | remote }
The command configures the Loopback mode.
You use the loopback function is generally specific test purposes:
z
local: indicates the internal loop used to detect whether the local service chip is normal.
z
payload: indicates the outer loop used to detect whether the payload is normal.
z
remote: indicates the outer loop used to detect whether the remote is normal.
By default, no loopback is enabled on the ATM E3 interface.

10.2.4 Checking the configuration
Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.

status of the ATM interface.
display interface atm [ interface-number ] [ | { begin |
exclude | include } regular-expression ]
Running the display interface atm command to view the configuration information about the
ATM interface, including the enabled scramble, frame format, clock mode .
