Instant Messaging settings
Use the Instant Messaging pane to review and program your instant
message alert settings.
Reviewing and configuring your Instant Message settings
1. Select Menu, Logout.
2. Select Menu, Options, Instant Messaging.
3. Complete the fields using the information in Table 13 "Instant
Messaging pane fields" on page 48 as a guide.

Auto Presence Enabled Select this check box to have the
MCC 3100 receive automatic presence
notifications from mobility enabled
buddies when their status changes.
Note: Auto Presence Enabled uses
extra airtime and reduces battery life
if the MCC 3100 for Windows Mobile
connects to the network for every
status update.
