— To send an instant message, select Menu, IM, type a message
or select a canned message, and select Menu, Send.

History (Call Logs)
The MCC 3100 for BlackBerry retains a record of your recent
communication sessions. The following events are logged:
• number of missed calls
• incoming and outgoing calls
• incoming and outgoing instant messages
• system event notifications
The History pane contains up to 50 log entries. Older entries are
automatically deleted.
The entries are organized by time and date, but you can sort them by
name or type. You can also filter the list so that only entries of a particular
type display. You can select an individual entry to view contact details,
add the contact to your local address book, or to initiate a call.
