The following table describes the IEEE 802.1x parameters.

Table 4-18 802.1x Parameter Descriptions (/info/l2/8021x)

Parameter Description

Port Displays each port’s alias.

Auth Mode Displays the Access Control authorization mode for the port. The Authoriza-

tion mode can be one of the following:

 force-unauth

 auto

 force-auth

Auth Status Displays the current authorization status of the port, either authorized or

unauthorized.

Authenticator

PAE State

Displays the Authenticator Port Access Entity State. The PAE state can be

one of the following:

 initialize

 disconnected

 connecting

 authenticating

 authenticated

 aborting

 held

 forceAuth

Backend

Auth State

Displays the Backend Authorization State. The Backend Authorization state

can be one of the following:

 initialize

 request

 response

 success

 fail

 timeout

 idle
